• SGC provides employment advice to clients regarding hiring employees and complying with California employment law, including advising regarding independent contractor v. employee classification.

• SGC negotiates and drafts employment related documents, including offer letters, employment agreements and employment handbooks.

• SGC advises clients regarding incentive compensation for employees, such as granting equity to employees or other performance based compensation.

Protect

• SGC counsels clients regarding liability protection, especially in the context of contracts and other transactions.

• SGC advises clients regarding intellectual property protection, such as trademark registration, licensing agreements, copyright protection, trade secret protection, and non-disclosure/non-circumvention agreements.

• SGC guides clients in the area of privacy law compliance and drafts privacy policies, terms of use and other required legal disclosures for clients’ websites.
